Before summer gets away from us and the chill of autumn settles in for the season, we will visit the Veluwezoom National Park to look our eyes out while the lavish Dutch heide (heather) is in full bloom.
Veluwezoom National Park is the oldest national park in The Netherlands and spans more than 5,000 hectares. The Veluwezoom is part of the Veluwe, a large, continuous nature reserve.
We will meet at the Veluwezoom Visitor Center at 11 a.m. and set out to explore the park no later than 11:10 a.m.
Out in the heather we will share in a simple tea time with light snacks where we can share our thoughts on the wandering and wondering.
